21 Businesses in Erie County Apply for Keno

On July 20th, 2008, a list released to the public by the Ohio Lottery Commission shows twenty-one businesses in Erie County have applied to offer keno, which will be available on August 4th, 2008. Don Metelsky, the sales director for the Ohio Lottery said that it is a game that is well-matched to the Sandusky area. Metelsky added that players that are visiting Ohio's north coast will now have a better gaming experience.

Aside from that, seven Huron County businesses and eight businesses in Ottawa County have applied to offer keno. Keno shares a lot of similarities with the lottery but has the advantage of offering instant gratification to players.

The Ohio Lottery Commission, which is featuring the game, said that the will pick twenty numbers from a pool of numbers from one to eighty. Players can pick up to ten numbers. Players can win different prizes by correctly matching the numbers that they have picked from the digits picked by the lottery. Players can win as much as $100,000.

The first drawing will happen at 11:04 a.m. with drawings every 4 minutes until 1:44 a.m. One of the businesses in Sandusky that is featuring keno is the Old Dutch Tavern. Keno is being featured in businesses in Sandusky like the Old Dutch Tavern. Keno is also being offered in fraternal groups, veteran's halls, restaurants and bowling areas.

Around 1,020 applicants all over Ohio are in different stages of approval to feature the game. Keno is expected to produce around $73 million through June 30th, 2009, which is the end of the current fiscal year.
