The Cass County Commissioners expanded the list of county Keno locations on June 16th, 2009 during their daily meeting at the Cass County Courthouse. The county commissioners unanimously approved adding the new Flatheads Restaurant located at Castaway Pointe in Plattsmout to the list of keno locations by a five-zero vote.
The decision came after Cass County Keno representative George Payne told board members that Flatheads was planning to open a restautant, bar and keno establishment by August 1st, 2009. Payne said that the restaurant would be located on the Desert Princess Too boat that arroved in Plattsmout almost two weeks ago. He stated that the bottom floor of the riverboat would be utilized for social gatherings and the top floor would used as an open-air restaurant and bar.
Payne also stated that Cubby's Greenwood Truck Plaza in Greenwood was expecting to begin offering keno on July 7th, 2009. The location recently launched a Chester Fried Chicken restaurant and has a Godfather's Pizza restaurant, gas station and a convenience store. Payne said that he was looking forward on how the game of keno would fare at the truck plaza. Payne added that he is really interested to see how things will develop out there especially with the game of keno.
