Errol Mullaly Wins $145,000 in Keno at the Kallangur Tavern

A Keno fan from the Murrumba Downs has been awarded a total of $145,000 after his numbers came up at the Kallangur Tavern. Sixty-five year-old Errol Mullaly, was at the Kallangur pub playing his favorite game of keno on October 30th, 2009, when he matched nine from nine numbers on the game.

Mr. Mullaly said that with five to six numbers to go he said to his mate that he want number one and the last number to come out on the game was his.

Mullaly said that it was a million to one chance. Mullaly's win caps a twelve-month lucky streak in keno for the plant operator, with seven smaller keno wins as well as a twelve thousand haul eight months ago after he got seven digits out of seven in the game.

Mr. Mullaly works in Cloncurry for two weeks and spends the remainder of the month at his daughter's residence in Murrumba Downs. When in town, he visits the Kallangur Tavern and plays his favorite keno game whenever he can. Despite Mullaly's big win, he said that there will be no big splurges. He said that he will place the money in a term deposit for the next year since he will retire in twelve months time. He added that the money will come in handy.
