A midnight call on August 7th, 2007 did not bother or anger Kenneth Kirkendoll from Cairo. When he answered, it was his cousin telling him that they had won $8,000. Kirkendoll and his cousin, Kara Kirkendoll from Moberly, have been playing together for several years now.
Kara Kirkendoll said that when she called her cousin, she just shouted that they have won $8,000 dollars. 29 year-old Kirkendoll, who works as a bartender at the West Side Inn, 618 Concannon Street in Moberley commented that they have few customers so she decided to play Club keno.
She let the computer select her numbers in the Quick Pick Combination game. Her ticket matched the eight numbers needed in the nine spot game and Bulls Eye game to get the jackpot prize. Kara Kirkendoll said that she plans to use her portion of the $8,000 dollars jackpot prize to pay her bills.
34 year-old Kenneth Kirkendoll, who works as a firefighter in Moberley said that he plans to use the money to finance his trip in southeast Missouri. He added that he will also pay some of his bills.
