Visiting his friend paid off big time for a man living in Manchester who won a total of $12,563 while participating in Club Keno. 65 year old Wedell Spray commented that he was staying at Carmody's, 49 Clarkson in Ellisville on May 26, 2007 playing Club Keno with some of his close friends when he hit 7 out of the 20 numbers that were drawn.
He also participated and matched the Bulls-Eye number and even won the Progressive Jackpot. Spray commented that he has played the same 7 numbers over and over again. He selected them randomly. Spray's winning numbers are 9, 15, 33, 44, 58, 68 and 77.
According to Spray, he and his wife Joan intend to use some of the winnings to pay some of their debts, put some of it in the bank and go on a vacation. Club Keno players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 worth of keno ticket at every draw of the keno game. For an extra $1 players can win as much as $300,000 by hitting all of the numbers and the Bull's Eye number in a 10 spot game.
Club Keno participants who play with the 6, 7 and 8 spot games are automatically allowed to join with no added fees to try win the extra progressive jackpot prize. Keno players can win this progressive jackpot prize along with other prizes from the 6, 7 and 8 spot game.
If the jackpot is not hit during the drawing, it will continue until it is won. The Progressive Jackpot is considered to be a pari-mutuel, so players will share the jackpot prize based on how many players won on a particular prize category.
