Pacific Online Systems Corporation, the online lottery system provider of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in Visayas and Mindanao, stated on January 6th, 2010 that their overall sales improved by 18.5% to 7.69 billion pesos in 2009 from 6.49 billion pesos in 2008 due to the solid roll-out of lottery outlets.
Pacific Online Systems head Willy Orcier stated in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange that the improvement in the sales of the lottery also improved the earnings of Pacific Online Systems Corporation, which receives a ten percent share of PCSO's overall gaming sales. Orcier said that the growth was mainly driven by the continuous and solid roll-out of lottery terminals.
Orcier said that the Pacific Online's good sales in Visayas and Mindanao were mainly due to the enormous jackpots in 2009. Pacific Online Systems, through its subsidiary Total Gaming Technologies, the holder of the lease deal on gaming equipment on keno, hiked its release of wagering terminals to one hundred at the end of 2009 from thirty-four in 2008,
