The Plattsmouth City Council members gave their overwhelming approval on September 8th, 2009 for an additional Class l alcohol license for a brand new side walk cafe of the Plattsmouth Keno establishment.
Plattsmouth Keno manager Sharon Colabella told the Plattsmouth City Council that the establishment is building a one thousand three hundred square foot addition on the southern portion of the existing keno facility. Collabella said that the new cafe will help them improve their earnings that have been affected by the financial crisis and increasing competition.
The brand new addition will feature a pair of enclosed walls and two open walls and can accommodate sixty to seventy customers. Plattsmouth Keno customers would be able to smoke inside the new addition and could order food and beverages. There will also big television monitors available so that customers can still enjoy keno.
Plattsmouth manager Sharon Colabella said that this new addition will also make them more competitive against other establishments in the area and they are very excited and happy about it. Colabella told the Plattsmouth council members that the new addition is expected to be finished by the end of October 2009.
